I’ve been working as a journalist for the better part of two decades, and I can’t imagine another career that would satisfy my curiosity about the world.

After many years at The Associated Press, I made the leap to freelance writing. My first book, FEASTING ON THE SPOILS, comes out July 10, 2007. It’s the story of Randy “Duke” Cunningham, the most corrupt congressman in U.S. history.
